Today, October 16th at 2:30pm, applications opened for the $5,000 Bridge Grant.
The MRFA is proud to have been integral in urging our provincial government to provide more support programs to small businesses like restaurants and we will continue to advocate on behalf of our industry.
The $5,000 support program from the Province of Manitoba opened this afternoon for applications.

Important information includes but is not limited to:
- application deadline was originally December 15, 2020 (EDIT: Please note, since this post was originally published, the deadline has been extended to December 31st).
- to qualify, businesses must have been required to fully close their premises to the public as a result of Manitoba COVID-19 Prevention Orders in effect as of November 12, 2020, but
- businesses operating online or by providing goods through takeout/delivery (such as restaurants) still qualify
- the grant is taxable income
