PLEASE NOTE: Phase Three guidelines are still applicable under Phase Four for restaurants/food service establishments, as these guidelines were not updated under Phase Four’s Health Orders.
When Phase Three of Manitoba’s Roadmap for Recovery was announced, the MRFA contacted Manitoba Health for further clarification on some guidelines.
Manitoba Health provided us with some answers at the time (which you can view here) and has further clarified some additional questions we’d asked on behalf of our members and industry.

PLEASE NOTE THE ABOVE LINK/DOCUMENT HAS BEEN UPDATED TO CLARIFY:
In regards to gatherings at restaurant venues: a previous version of this document suggested that people from different households must be separated by 2 metres, when the document should have indicated that this was encouraged, but not mandated, and operators are not responsible for determining which people are from the same household. Tables within groups must be distanced by 2 metres and guests are to be encouraged not to interact except for brief exchanges.
