The MRFA is launching a new grant aimed at helping restaurants with staffing issues, particularly recruitment, called the Restaurant Recruitment Grant.
Applications open today, April 1st, and the deadline for submissions is April 15th, 2022, at 5pm CST.
The Restaurant Recruitment Grant (The RR Grant) offers financial assistance through working capital grants of up to $2,000 to eligible applicants. Grants may be used to assist with costs related to recruitment of staff, and other similar initiatives which promote hiring of staffing within the restaurant industry and your business.
The RR Grant is being administered by The Manitoba Restaurant & Foodservices Association (MRFA) with capital from the Province of Manitoba.
At this time, the existing funding will be distributed to applicants on a first come, first served basis, within the criteria of the program, prioritizing those that did not receive relief from the Restaurant Marketing and Recovery Grant (RMR Grant) in late 2021.
