Crime Grant Announcement Supporting Manitoba’s restaurant community remains one of our top priorities — and we’re proud to share that the new Crime Grant was launched Thursday to help businesses strengthen safety and recover from crime-related impacts. This grant is designed to provide financial support to restaurants and foodservice businesses for measures such as security upgrades, damage repairs, prevention tools, and other initiatives that help create safer workplaces for staff and guests. We will continue to share full information on eligibility, how to apply, and funding amounts. Our goal is to ensure every member has the knowledge and support they need to access this funding quickly and effectively. There is no specific deadline and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, until the money runs out. Please check back here for updates throughout the month. You will also need proof of business location, such as a utility bill dated within the last 3 months, 2024 or 2025 Property tax assessment or bill. Your business must have a main entrance your customers can use directly from a public area (for example a sidewalk, street, shopping mall concourse, or parking lot) You must have proof of purchase and proof of installation. You will need your direct deposit information.
